| | Vista - System Restore lost my data drive |

| | System Restore lost my data drive I have Windows Home premium and did a restore to a time earlier in the day. I got the message saying that it had not completed the restore successfully, and nothing had changed BUT my D drive (with all my data) has gone missing. I have tried an "undo" and restoring to a time two days earlier, but the D drive will not return. Can anyone please help - I am desperate (of course I was going to do a backup, but didn't get around to it!) -- Akadk |

| | Re: System Restore lost my data drive Hello. Thanks for the reply. It is (was) a physically separate disk, and it does not appear in the disk manager, or device manager or even in Dos. Any ideas? -- akadk "Rick Rogers" wrote: Quote: > Hi, > > Is D: a seperate volume on the same drive or a separate physical drive?
