F8 boot list on every startup

    F8 boot list on every startup

    No matter how I shut down my Vista Ultimate x64, upon reboot or startup, it defaults right to the F8 list stating Windows was not shutdown properly and chooses Safe mode and just sits there - prompting me to select Start Windows normally. Not sure what could be the cause (obviously) but I checked my msconfig boot settings and all looks good there. Any input appreciated.

    Hi,

    Open an elevated command prompt, run bcdedit /enum and paste the results
    into a reply. If you need assistance with how to do this, please ask.

    I got it. I basically did the bcdedit and turned off the advancedoptions. I guess if I need to use them later on hopefully I can get in- if not, there's always BartPE
