Vista takes a unusually long amount of time to save files on the network.

I'm not sure if this is an microsoft office problem or a vista problem.

On some files, not unusually large, it takes several seconds to save the
file. (15-20 seconds or longer is not un-common)

I turned file-syncing off, thinking this was the problem, but no.

Windows 2000 is the server, Vista 32 bit is the workstation, Office 2007 is
the application
