sup, can u help me out?

i got this problem, and its kind of wierd. its when i am not on
anything my computer works at a normal speed CPU speed = 0 ~ 20. and
when i go in IE or any game, including games from IE my computer starts
to update. so i close it and updates stop, i am like wtf. then i just
let it to update whatever it needs to do. and does just a signiture
check then its finished after that i go back on games and in middle i
get a *MAJOR *lag and next i notice my computer updating.

what should i do about this?
