Adjust Me! Virtual memory.

My virtual Memory settings are screaming at me to adjust them. I want to at
least change the virtual memory to reflect the recommended as below states.
My OS is set to=Automatic manage paging file size all drive and this is what
it is.

My system strains at times and hang apps etc. my last resort is to look into
this. I never had a firm grasp on Memory management, it is kryptonite to me

When I look at what you've posted below, what screams out to me is
that you probably need to adjust your *real* memory, not your virtual
memory.

You don't say anything about what applications you run, but 1GB of RAM
is about the lowest amount that anyone can get away with using. And
your 1GB is effectively even less than 1GB, because apparently some of
it is used by your on-motherboard graphics controller. Many, if not
most, people find that going to 2GB will give them a sizable boost in
performance.

yaa ok. i see the virtual gets its juice from the real memory. so upgrading
that will produce a more efficent use of memory.
