| | Windows Vista running slow to the point of inoperable Prior to the problem I activated Microsoft Word and also installed software for a digital camera (of which compatibility issues may be the problem). Not all of a sudden, but the next day the computer froze and acted the same (running extreamly slow) after restarts. THe computer runs fine in safe mode and I have tried all of the troubleshooting options which I was prompted to try by Windows Help (System Restore and such). I am unable to use uninstall for either Moicrosoft Word or "Picture Package." Is this a function of safe mode? Is my next option to now reinstall windows? If so how do I go about this and will I be in danger of losing my liscence for Microsoft Word since I am unable to unistall it first? Thanks |
