Vista - creatring system backup locks dvd

When i wanne try to create a system backup to dvd, i get a strange thing.
and also a very nasty problem.

First thing.. why is it that i insert recordable dvd .. vista tries to
format it .???
Rewritables need to be formated not writables.


Problem is when i write a full disc, i get the message.
Insert a new empty disc with lable *****

Ok nice, huge problem... VISTA LOCKS the dvd drive.
and it forget to unlock it ...
It also not opened my dvd drive.. ( thats a good thing so it is not banging
to my front door ).

But because of this locking... i can not insert the new empty drive.
When i try to stop the backup.. complete backup prgrams freezes...

This is happening with my vista 64bit ultimate edition....
