Vista - Backup Question

My backup set was created on 11/7/2007 and in that folder, there are
additional folders for each time I backed up.
1. With each weekly backup, does it back up every selected file each time?
Or does it backup just the files that were changed or modified?

I backed up files on 11/14, deleted them on 12/1 to save space on the
computer. Lets say I back up weekly thereafter and in August the back up
drive is full. If I delete the earliest copy (11/14), does that mean all the
files that were backed up on 11/14 is gone?

If this is the case, it will not take long for a back up drive to fill up
quickly.

Manage what exactly you need to backup and how often. Whatever you do not
change needs only one backup whereas files that are changed, added, modified
often can be saved when necessary.
