After 2-4 hours of using my computer it starts limiting the amount of
programs I can open. Not long after (5-10 min) it goes so bad I cant open
anything expect for one internet browser. Can anyone help ?

virus/malware infection, it could be hardware failing or overheating.

just download a ant virus go on to google and type in: vista 64 antivirus
unless you running vista 32 bit then type in:vista 32 antivirus
and do the same for anti spyware just type the same but change anti virus to anti spyware
