hard drive memory

there is 19.7Gb of memory on my hard drive, i,ve looked what programs i can unistall, but is there a way where i can have alist of every program and file on my laptop,so i can go about deleting all the crap at the same time and not have to look files and folders all over the place, because when i look into them the sum total to erase is only 1Gb if that.

You have 19.7GB of *space*, not memory. Go to Add/Remove Programs and
uninstall the programs you don't need. Buy a second internal or external
hard drive and store data on it. Do normal maintenance on the machine to
clean out temporary files.

Re: hard drive memory

if that is true,, it indicates half of your hard drive is empty. I'd not worry about it.

just run disk cleanup, use the advanced options to delete all but last restore point.
