| | Vista Home Premium Backup Failure I have a bad backup set. When creating, I got an I/O error. How do I force a fresh, brand new backup? It only wants to do an Incremental backup to my already bad disks. I don't have even one good backup yet. Any help much appreciated. |

| | Re: Vista Home Premium Backup Failure You should be able to go to Control Panel|Backup and Restore Center|Change settings|Change backup settings (as you will see there is an option to start a new, full backup). Start out with new clean discs. By the way, I gave up on discs some time back: too many discs, takes too long, too much hassle -- I bought an external USB hard drive for my backup destination and it works automatically and smoothly. You made me look closer and I found it. I was getting frustrated. |
