One of my taskbar icons that appear in the lower right hand corner of my screen is the pair of computer monitors that shows when I'm connected to a network, or directly to the internet--whatever. When I'm on someone's network, one of the little monitors has a cluster of blue bubbles on it (know what I mean, Verne?). OK, that icon suddenly disappeared. Where'd it go, and how do I get it back??????? -- Nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care... | ||

After reading some other posts on this subject, I rebooted my computer, and although the missing icon continued to "hide", this time I was able to access it in the taskbar window within the control panel. I was not able to do this operation before rebooting. BTW: the official name of the icon is "network icon." Ta-daaaa! We're like snowflakes! By ourselves, we can't do much, but sticking together, we can stop traffic!!!!! -- Nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care... "Sig" wrote:
