Administrative Tools

Organizing folders in All Programs and now can't see or find the
Administrative Tools folders or programs. Folder is visible under System
Maintenance in Control Panel. How can I restore?

Re: Administrative Tools

ughhh....

How exactly were you doing this (and why?--no forget it, I probably don't
want to know)

Did you right click the START ORB and choose EXPLORE (or OPEN) ALL USERS?

or

Did you right click the START ORB and choose EXPLORE (or OPEN) (at the top
of the menu)?

I'm just kind of fumbling here, but this is my thinking.....there are
actually two folders named ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS, one is a real folder in the
ALL USERS section of

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools

The other is actually a virtual folder

C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start
Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools that points to the above folder.

To even guess what to do, we need to first figure out which item you killed.

btw--did you perhaps look into subfolders to see if you just dragged it to
another nearby folder?
