SP1 Removed The Search Button From The Start Menu - How Can I Rest

The title is pretty self-explanatory - is there a way of putting the Search
button back into the Start Menu after SP1 removed it.

Hi Bob,

You cannot add the button back, but as an alternative, this will show you how to create a shortcut for Search that you can then Pin to the Start menu to have the same button close to where it use to be.

If you would also like to restore Search back to the context menu, then this will show you how to.

Many thanks for the replies- I used the Registry fix to
restore the Search context on a right-click, and it works well.
