| | Re: I get a blue screen problem for Microsoft Product Support Services Hi, This isn't Microsoft Product Support Services, this is a peer to peer support area. You can locate them here: http://support.microsoft.com/ under the "Need more help?" category. Support here is from other users like yourself. That said, this looks like a setup error? You didn't indicate if this was an error while installing or if it was from a running system, but the event viewer looks like it's pulling from the sertup disk. The error code, 0x00000124, generally is related to a problem with sound or video card drivers (particularly with Nvidia cards). -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "808_kenn" <808kenn@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:BD9FA9C8-3D72-4105-A04C-C2989ED98E2F@xxxxxx Quote: > the error is: Problem signature: > Problem Event Name: BlueScreen > OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3 > Locale ID: 1033 > > Additional information about the problem: > BCCode: 124 > BCP1: 00000000 > BCP2: 8475A2C8 > BCP3: B2000018 > BCP4: 06000E0F > OS Version: 6_0_6000 > Service Pack: 0_0 > Product: 768_1 > > Files that help describe the problem: > C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini030908-01.dmp > C:\Users\kyuen\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-153270-0.sysdata.xml > C:\Users\kyuen\AppData\Local\Temp\WERDCF6.tmp.version.txt > > Read our privacy statement: > http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?link...3&clcid=0x0409 > > > > in the event viewer: I got the following error: > ----------------------- > error event (application) > Log Name: Application > Source: Microsoft-Windows-EventSystem > Date: 3/9/2008 6:03:59 PM > Event ID: 4609 > Task Category: Event System > Level: Error > Keywords: Classic > User: N/A > Computer: kyuen-XPS > Description: > The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal > processing.
