| | Ultimate complete pc restore doesn't restore all files! I performed a completed PC backup on restore image because I wanted to test out Vista 64 on my computer over the weekend. After playing with 64, I decided I wanted to go back to 32 bit Vista. So I did a restore of my computer by booting off the Vista CD and restoring my system. Ran without a hitch. Come to find out, when I launched iTunes, all of my music files from CD's that I imported were not found. When I clicked the names in iTunes I got a message would I like to locate it? Funny thing is all the songs that I downloaded from iTunes (free ones) were fine, just the ones that I imported from CD's. I checked my iTunes music folder and the directories were there, and the artwork, just no music files. What the heck? Luckily it was only 3 cd's of music, but this is totally unacceptable! I have no confidence in this feature now and who knows what else it didn't restore! |
