Could someone please provide me with a simple easy to understand solution? Thank you...... It depends on the file you are trying to delete. If it is a folder that starts with "My ....", then you cannot and should not delete these. These are called junction points for the actual folder in the "C:\Users\(user name)" location. What is the name and path location of the file you are wanting to delete? You may need to take ownership of it first before you can delete it. This will show you how if this is the case. Take Ownership of file Shawn |

I did try the site where you dl the "take ownership" file, but it doesn't seem to work!
