Vista - Aol Instant MEssenger

I don't know if this is just me, or if it's everyone, but I cant install any
version of AIM. And I dont want to use Trillian because it uses up too much
ram. Like when I go to install the AIM 5.8 it nearly finishes the setup and
then it freezes. I left it for a day straight, and nothing happened. So if
there is any alternate way of installing it or anything (besides trllian)
then please let me know. Thanks in advance.

AOL Triton doesn't work, and neither does the standard version. I have had
success with AIM Pro, however. It seems to take up minimal RAM.

After doing a fresh install of Pre-RC1, I went to AIM's website, and
downloaded the version before Triton, and so far, no issues. (I'll be testing
out Triton tonight.) I haven't had to 'uninstall' anything yet, but you might
want to try wiping anything "AOL/AIM-Related" on your computer before you try
again.
