Stop Error: 0x00000101 Issue

Ok here is what my issue is, whenever I use any program that is graphic intensive I get the BSOD or error that states that an error occurred in the problem and it will be closed. Program examples are Bioshock, Unreal Tournament 3, VLC, ZoomPlayer, and Windows Media Player. The last 3 programs stop or Blue Screen when trying to play h264 Mkv files for High Def Movies , the following is the Error Code / Stop Error I get:
BCCode: 101
BCP1: 0000000000000061
BCP2: 0000000000000000
BCP3: FFFFFA60005EC180
BCP4: 0000000000000001
OS Version: 6_0_6001
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1
STOP: 0x00000101 (0x00000000000061, 0x00000000000000, 0xFFFFFA60005EC180, 0x0000000000000001)

Here are the Specs of my PC:
Motherboard: ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe Bios Version 1404
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Black Edition Dual Core Processor 6400+, running at stock speed 3.20 GHz
RAM: 2 sticks of Corsair XMS2-6400 1024MB, Timing is 5 5 5 12 2T 1.90V 800 MHz, Standard Setting in Slots A1 & A2
Video Card: 1 NVidia PCI-E x16 GeForce 8600 GTS 512 MB not overclocked, Forceware version 168.25
HDD & DVD: 2 Western Digital 500 Gig Internal SATA Drives, Non Raid, 1 Memorex DVD+ -RAM 525G
O/S: Vista Ultimate x64 6.0.6001 SP1

Here’s what I’ve done so far :
Updated the Bios of the Motherboard to version 1404
Verified that the Memory timing is what was suggested per Corsair’s Tech Support Forums
Ran Memtestx86 Ver 2.01 during bootup for 1 ½ hours, no errors were found
Installed the Vista Codec package and CCCP Codec package
My Vista is up to date on updates
Can reproduce the Stop Error by running Windows Media Player and opening any Mkv file
The files will play for about 7 to 14 minutes before the BSOD occurs.

Please offer trouble shooting suggestions

Thanks

Re: Stop Error: 0x00000101 Issue

It appears that I have been able to resolve my BSOD issue. Installed a program called Hot CPU Tester Pro 4.41 and during the first 5 minutes of running the burn in test my pc blue screened twice. Powered down the unit and removed the cpu heat sink. After cleaning the heat sink and cpu reapplied Artic Silver 5 thermal paste following instructions found on their website for Dual core chips. Ran the burn in test again and though it failed 2 test the burn in was able to run for 6 hours without my system crashing. I also have been able to play mkv files and games without blue screening.
I hope that this will help someone in the future having that same issue

Re: Stop Error: 0x00000101 Issue

Thank you,

Can someone help me,
I had tried this option on my pc and the problem is still there...
When I play games like, BattleField , Bioshock and Company Of Heroes Tales of Valor,
I get random (*** STOP : 0x00000124) and (*** STOP : 0x00000101) errors in a Blue Screen of Death. I had updated all the drivers.
Also tired Memetest, disable the audio driver in BIOS. But the problem is always there
(When I play some games it does not hapend and I don't know why...)

Here my configuration:

-Vista Home Prenium x64
-Radeon HD 4870 1024mb
-6GB Ram DDR2
-Core 2 Quad 2.40 Ghz
-700w Corsair
-Intel Motherboard

Please Help me I think that it will make me crazy!!
