| Guest | Operator Error Windows Vista Home Premium. I wanted to check the contents of \Windows\INF. I clicked on INF to open the folder. Instead of opening, the contents of the INF disappeared. I suspected that I may have moved the mouse while clicking. Instead of doing the correct action of using undo, I closed Windows Explorer. I corrected that problem by restoring the Windows\INF folder from a recent image. {Confession over.} Problem is that I now have a \Windows\IME\inf folder that appears to be identical to \Windows\INF. I suspect that what I did was move the INF folder to the IME folder and that the folder \Windows\IME\inf should not exist. I do not have access to another computer with Vista to compare. Before I do anything with \Windows\IME\inf, I would like to verify that the folder should not exist. |
