| | Re: Fast Shut down keystroke If you drag the shutdown Icon to the Quick launch tool bar it only takes one click of your mouse. Another one to try is for a fast reboot as follows: c:\windows\system32\shutdown.exe -r -t 00 I use the brown colored UP arrow Icon for this one. Have fun, Jerry "AriesVal" <nothennrietta@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:1hs6j89cr37uj.813kzcpdto49.dlg@xxxxxx Quote: > On Tue, 29 Apr 2008 08:58:50 -0600, JerryM wrote: > Quote: >> Yes, the same one used for XP, >> Create a shortcut as follows: >> c:\windows\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 00 >> When the Icon is installed on the desktop, right click it and click >> change >> Icon, >> select the shutdown Icon you want. >> >> "AriesVal" <nothennrietta@xxxxxx> wrote in message >> news:1rbw7d49pfqiy$.qw1d45kuqxsk$.dlg@xxxxxx Quote: >>> [6 quoted lines suppressed] > thanks I'll try that ![]() > -- > http://www.copelands.plus.com/val/ > http://ariesval.livejournal.com/ > http://aries-val.livejournal.com/ > http://valwrite.livejournal.com/ |
