| | Vista Backup and Restore Hello, Is there a way to backup my pc using Vista Backup and then restore it to another pc running Windows XP Pro? If not, do you have any suggestions for an efficient and inexpensive way to do it? Vista appears to backup my files in zip format, but my Windows XP pc looks for a .bkf file. There are over 400 zip files so I don't want to even try to unzip each one individually, if that would even work. Thank you. |

| | Re: Vista Backup and Restore I believe that you can run the xp backup program on Vista. I haven't done it myself but have read about it. If you do a search, there should be many web pages that tell you how to run the XP backup program on Vista.
