Vista Tutorial - Desktop background problems?

Why, all of the sudden, anything I choose for a desktop background image is
enlarged and out of focus? Not just an image I've downloaded, but the "stock"
images also. I've tried the pixel gig and no luck.

In addition to t-4-2's post:

Have you changed your DPI (increased from 96 DPI) or screen resolution (decreased) settings?

DPI:
DPI Scaling

Screen Resolution:
Screen Resolution

You might also check to see if trying different picture positions in step 5 of this tutorial to see if that helps any.
