    System Restore Error

After my spyware doctor scanned my computer and fixed an Adware situation i
received an error. "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is

    incorrect. (0x8007007B)

Is there a way of fixing this and how did this happen? Any suggestions and
    comments will be very appreciated.

Thank you for bringing me up to date on this fact. I hadn't realized
that it wasn't included in Vista and will be doing some research on this
    topic.

To the original poster.......my sincerest apologies for the erroneous
    information.

    Now back to Nonny:

A polite response informing him of the correct terminology would have
been much better than your condescending remark.
The OP was trying to help. Your post was no help at all.

It's not in XP either, just in case you missed that too.

There is no need for you to apologize for anything. You used
terminology for a past version of the utility. The utility used in XP and
Vista is called Check Disk (Chkdsk).
This is no different than someone calling "Programs and Features" in
Vista the old name "Add and Remove Programs", which was in XP.
Sometimes it is hard to break old habits. It's not so hard to killfile
an impolite and condescending poster. I'm with you.
