What Absolute Junk Vista Ultimate 64 bit OS is

Despite Vista glee club out there most reviewers have published opinions
about Vista 64 that are not much different than skunksmash's experience.
Doubtless a small number of users are able to get by with Vista 64. I
suspect they spend more time tweaking the OS than actually doing real work
on their computers.
XP 64 was never anything more than an experiment. In its present state Vista
64 is not much better.
Vista 64 is not reliable for mission critical computing with available
software and drivers. Most peripheral OEMs only got stable Vista 32 drivers
a year or so after the OS was released, most devote nearly zero effort to
the 64 bit version.
I enjoyed the post concerning 64 bit software: Adobe is promising a 64 bit
version of Photoshop for Vista but I am sure they will have to specify
compatibility with a specific range of hardware because of driver issues.
Game publishers cannot even write for DX10 so I doubt that 64 bit games are
high on their to-do list.
Raw as Vista 64 is Adobe is supposedly not even working on a 64 bit Mac
version of Photoshop because the Mac programming tools are even worse than
for Vista.

So is Home Premium 64bit, junk I mean........and to top it off I have to purchase a faxing software or a fax machine, either will cost me more than what Vista cost me.
And to think that even xp home edition had a fax console that worked like a dream.

The business version includes Fax software, complete scheduled backup, and BitLocker encryption. I'm guessing it may have been worth a few moments to check what is included in what version...

You right about checking the different versions, who thought that Msoft would not include the fax console in Home Premium, All the XP versions have it. In South Africa most people having a home based business use XP Home, because it's afordable and give you everything you need, even for leasure.
For that reason, Vista Home Premium would be the ideal OS to replace XP Home, so everyone thought.
