| | VISTA Search Problems I can't find a solution and think I'm going to have to put all my files on my XP computer, but this isn't going to take care of future problems when my XP computer no longer works. When I search for a word in the files I've been building for years with Microsoft Word or Works (.rtf or .wps) the Vista search is not finding results. Only finds results in the recent PDF documents. I've tried everything I've read in these forums regarding indexing. Can someone please help????!!! A technician told me this is a general bug and I probably have to wait for Microsoft to release a patch. Is this true, and why is it taking so long? |
