Vista Remote Desktop connection slow with show local devices selected

Since upgrading my Office machine from XP to Vista
Business I have noticed the remote (Office) machine is
very slow to display the Window when I click on
"Computer"..drives, network shares and remote (home)
drives appear slowly. In fact the progress bar makes 2
passes before the window appears. If however I choose
not to allow local resounces on the Remote Connection,
"Computer" window is populated fast. Both machines using
Vista with SP1.

System otherwise works fine.

Is there an explantion for this?

Thanks
