Watched news in red ink

Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP1. WLM 14.0.8050.1202
I mark all the posts I started or replied to as " watched news ". They
appear in red.
BEFORE I installed SP1, which was 6 hours ago, all the replies under the "
watched news" were in red when I viewed them.
AFTER SP1, the original threads are still in red, but all subsequent replies
are now in black.
Is that normal for SP1 ? Thank you.

It's configurable if you take the time to look.

highlight with Red, Mark messages as watched.
