Video FPS is Shot

I was hoping RC2 would fix a problem with the ATI drivers decreasing frames
per second performance. But it didn't. In fact, I'd say it's worse.
Playing World of Warcraft is next to impossible. Changing the in game video
settings does absolutely nothing. Either ATI has got to get a new beta
driver issued or I'm going to have to go back to XP.

Re: Video FPS is Shot

Ben,
Did ya use the vista drivers themselves?
They're from ATI anyhow;and better than what's on ATI's site.

Re: Video FPS is Shot

Hello Ben
ATI in the future will have a driver to run with this Vista OS, The
Interface is alot better than XP.
Hardware companies will have no choice but to update compatable drivers.
Keep in mind that a lot of 32-bit games might not even run under this
Command Com
Just keep your XP OS, (do not upgrade) and install your Vista as a seperate
OS. Once upgraded Vista can not be uninstalled back to XP
