    Battery problems

About a month ago my computer starts up with this message - 'Warning: The
battery cannot be identified. This system will be unable to charge this
battery. Press any key to continue. Press <F2> two times to enter setup.
Press <F12> and enter any key to enter boot menu.'
This happened out of the blue, nothing happened to cause this problem e.g.
    any error messages.
What can I do to stop this message appearing everytime I use my laptop?

Call the laptop mftr.'s tech support. This is a hardware issue, not a
    Windows issue.
