Vista - Resource Monitor Harddrive Usage

Few days ago I noticed my harddrive light going crazy, when I wasnt doing anything. So, I looked in Vista's Resource Monitor under the Disk tab. And it was reading 1mb-100mb/sec, I did not have anything open. I cannot recall the exact file names that were causing this, b/c I dont know if to look at the Read or Write or Both. I do notice 1 file that is only named by -, that is all it says for the filename -. This file doesnt seem to be the problem just strange.
Any information on what could be causing this sudden hard drive usage will be appreciated. Also any info on the - file would be great too.

If everything is fine right now, then you shouldn't be worrying about
something you can't even properly describe so others can help you
figure it out.
