Vista - When I try to paste into internet explorer-stops working

I'm having a problem that has defeated me.

Being dyslexic, I write all my emails on microsoft word and then cut and paste into open email. When I do that now, a notice appears, "Internet Explorer has stopped
working.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" And of course nothing else happens.

Also, if I try to paste anything from internet, into a word doc, a notice appears- 'the information exceeds the size limit for pasting into Word Processor. Try reducing size and try again. '

Size is not the problem as this happens with one sentenc, four, or a page.

Weeks before this problem, the internet explorer kept freezing and I was forever closing down tabs or switching off to start up again.

I have deleted songs, pictures, checked virus, cleaned files, etc,

Have used 60% memory- less has I have spring cleaned more stuff. I thought that could have been the problem.

Last night, following a similar problem, I went in command prompt and - run as administrator and typed in FSC/SCANNON

Checked 100%

Said, 'Windows resource protection did not find an integrity violations'

I think it must be security problem, normally when you try to paste onto an open email- a window pops up and asks ' permission to continue,' this is not happening anymore.

Any light you can throw on this will be appreciated. I don't know what else to do!
