Vista - Windows Complete PC Restore

In case anyone is curious. I just did a Windows complete PC Restore, without
any problems. At the start there was quite a few safety questions to make
sure I wanted to format (bah,bah,bah). It worked perfectly. Just thought you
might like to know

You mean using shadow copy (system restore) ??? Thats not a big deal...
quite minor of a deal actually...

No it is not a system restore. I have a hint for a new name for you try
using block
or maybe hard in front. Have a great day .

Cheddar,
Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Backup Status and
Configuration.
there is an option called "Complete PC Backup."
This program creates an image of your computer which is completely
restorable. If it is nice because if you set that image on a second partition
or hard drive, you can restore your complete hard drive to a point where it
was working correctly.
Unlike System resore, it wipes the hard drive and restores the complete
image.

I've noticed that after a full backup & restore, all saved system restore
points are gone, and the list of previous Windows Updates is empty. Is this
supposed to be like that?
