CPU and Disk Performance Issue

I have moved some of my directories to a NAS device (my documents, my
pictures, etc.). Currently, my CPU is utilized 50% and I can see constant
access to the NAS device. It makes the PC very slow.

I thought perhaps it was doing an index or something like this; however, it
has been going on for 6+ hours.

Any thoughts on what is going on?

Have you checked the indexing options to see if it is indexing that device?

Re: CPU and Disk Performance Issue

I don't think it will let you index remote drives.
