      My System SpecsSystem Spec

    Not sure how I managed to post a blank one above .....

    Anyway, just installed 2 gb RAM from an one Vista machine into another.
    Windows experience gives it a score of 2.6 whereas in the other machine it
    was rated 3.8. Any ideas on what might cause the difference.

    Unless both machines are identical in regards to motherboards and ram
    requirements for same then yes that makes perfect sense. A little more info
    would be most helpful..

    Timing. If the board doesn't support as high a timing, or has to step down
    the timing to match other internals, then it will reduce the performance
    score.
