Vista - ATI x1400 update for RTM

Hi,

Just received an optional update for my vid card, an ATI x1400 256mb,
from Updates.
I installed it, then unplugged from ac, and POOF- Vista comes back saying my
pc is slow, please change from Aero to basic, and sure enough it was doggin,
BAD, apps stuttering, slow, my G-Force WMP viz just suckin bad.I rolled back
the driver, NO problems, whatsoever!!!

From my experience, I'de say stay away, still not up to speed with Vista,
the one that's in Vista natively,still outperforms the *newest* from ATI.
