| | wireless icon in the notification area For the past few days I have been trying to figure out why it takes so long to connect wirelessly. I have discovered that I'm connected immediately after boot, it's the icon in the notification area that takes forever to change to "connected" Is there any rhyme or reason for this? |

| | RE: wireless icon in the notification area When waking up from a sleep, the wireless connect time is very slow and the icon correctly reflects this. That is, I am not connected until the icon says so, unlike after a boot when I am connected and the icon says I'm not. All drivers are updated, etc. "acook" wrote: > For the past few days I have been trying to figure out why it takes so long > to connect wirelessly. > I have discovered that I'm connected immediately after boot, it's the icon > in the notification area that takes forever to change to "connected" > Is there any rhyme or reason for this? |
