| | Photoshop CS2 Register Pop up keeps comming up I have Vista Ultimate installed on an Acer 5680, along with Photoshop CS2 and the PS registration pop up keeps opening every time I start up PS. It is a legal copy and activated. I registered it 4 times. Still the same thing. Office 2003 did the same thing with the software agreement pop up but a found a registry fix on this sites data base. Does anyone know to to fix this in PS? |

| | Re: Photoshop CS2 Register Pop up keeps comming up Right-click on the Photoshop CS2 entry under All Programs and select Run as Administrator. Go through the registration again. Close Photoshop. Open it again normally and check that the registration box doesn't appear again. HTH. -- Jane, not plain 64 bit enabled :-)Batteries not included. | | Re: Photoshop CS2 Register Pop up keeps comming up This is my first day in your forum and it helped me tremendously so I felt I really needed to join. I googled the CS2 register problem that I have been having and found you. I had phoned Adobe support some time ago, probably November, and was told that since a new version of Adobe was now available, I had to pay them about $37.00 US (can't remember the exact figure) by credit card before she would help me with my problem. I have been a used of PS since version 2.5 (before layers) and have upgraded up to CS then purchased a full version of CS2 so that I could use it on more than the allowed 2 computers. I have never pirated their sw and felt that this fee was unreasonable. Anyway, thank you again for the help. Hopefully some day I will be able to offer someone some help in return. I'll be watching as regularly as time allows. Bob -- camcen Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |

| | Re: Photoshop CS2 Register Pop up keeps comming up Hi, camcen. I don't know how these things work, but you should be aware... Although you "Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com" to "your forum", I'm reading it in the Microsoft Communities, aka Discussion Groups - and actually as a post to the Microsoft public newsgroups! I'm seeing it at news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...ce_maintenance. I do not subscribe to VistaHeads and have not visited there except by clicking the link in your post. While your post's Subject line starts with "Re: ", indicating that it is a Reply to an earlier post, no such post is visible here. Did you know that VistaHeads is distributing your post this far? Or are they doing it with no notice to you? RC -- R. C.
