I attempted to run Complete PC BackUp and keep getting the following error,
"The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

I attempted to run Complete PC BackUp and keep getting the following error,

Can you give me the exact steps you followed to cause this error? I am
working with another customer who is getting the same error message, but he
is trying to launch System Restore, so I want to understand when this error
is occurring.
Thanks!

I go to control Panel, click on "backup and restore center, and then click on
"Backup my computer".It searches for backup device, I have a network
drivemade by Ximeta (NDAS..Netdisk). It finds and displays and tells me how
much space is available. I click, 'start backup'...I get message , 'preparing
to create back' and after about 10-15 seconds, I get error,Backup failed. and
"The filename, directory name, or volume lable syntaxisincorrect. (0x8007007B).

Can you do the following steps and email me the log file?
Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Asr,
create a new key called LogFileSetting
Under LogFileSetting, create a new DWORD value called EnableLogging.
Right-click that value, click Modify, and then enter 00000001 (hexadecimal)
or 1 (decimal)
Under LogFileSetting, create a new String value called LogPathName.
Right-click that value, click Modify, and then enter C:\asr.log
Now, reproduce the problem and send me the resulting asr.log file. When you
are done, delete the registry entry you created.
Also, can you send me a screenshot of your Disk Management screen? Please
use my email address minus "online."
