Performance and UAC

Hi there. Having UAC enabled I found that my comp is working with the speed
of PI , and usage of the processor is about 60-70% while idling, but after
disabling this future everything is ok. And my comp work with lightning
speed.

Asus 5B-E
Duo 2 Core E 6300
2 GB DDRII

Does anybody experience anything like this?
Regards Andy

RE: Performance and UAC

I kept UAC enabled until last week. The performance hit was too much to take.
Disabled it and WOW, Vista performs! MS you MUST tweak this.

Here are my specs

MB :Asus A8N5X
CPU: AMD 4800 (939)
Ram 2 gigs pc 3200
Vid ATI x1800xt
HD WD 250gig with 16 meg cache

Hardly a slow machine, yet not the newest. With UAC enabled Vista seemed
like a lethargic machine. Disabled sleek.

BTW, I'm running Vista Business.
