I've uninstalled and reinsttalled flash player 5 times

Why does this keep happening? It seems not a week goes by without having to
do the ritual. They are even on my favourites list! HELP

Did you run the Disk Cleanup Wizard by chance?
It deletes the "downloaded program files", which is wasFlash Player
    actually is.
For me, the "Windows Flash Player 9 ActiveX control content debugger
(for IE)" made Flash work again. It is available from
    http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html .

    Kind regards,

Same here. I keep a folder with Flash Uninstaller.exe and the latest Flash
Player.exe. I can use Google video player or play a YouTube file with no
problems. A few days later I get the " You need the latest version of Flash
Player... etc." There must be a program corrupting the Flash player. Any
    thoughts?

Just read the post about using the "Disk Cleanup Wizard". I use CCleaner
exclusively, and have always made sure that the listing for Flash Player
under the Applications tab is unchecked.
