| | More questions about backup and shadow copy I finally had a hard drive crash, and have successfully recovered using Complete PC Backup. The recovery was flawless. But... the backup I had to use was over a week old. My last backup didn't work because it ran out of space (my fault). However, even though it didn't complete a backup, it did leave behind a shadow copy in the System Volume Information folder that is newer than the last successful backup that I used to restore my drive. So my question is this: how do I access what's on this recent shadow copy to recover the data thats newer than the last backup? Is there any utility that would allow me to view the contents of the shadow copy or slipstream it into my drive? Thanks for any help. |

| | Re: More questions about backup and shadow copy Glad to hear Complete PC Backup worked for you. But unfortunately there is no tool that I'm aware of to piece together files from shadow copies. -- This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
