| | Help! nVidia 7950GX2 graphics card driver problem Ok, I went into device manager and noticed my drivers for the above gfx card were 7.10, dated 2006 sometime. Now I've always been told it's very important to have the latest gfx card drivers, so I went to nVidia's site to check for newer ones, and they had Vista drivers 7.15 dated Feb 07. After installing them everything *seems* ok, except in Device Manager now I have 2 entries for "7950GX2" under Display, and one of them has a little yellow triangle with the exclamation point. Looking at the properties tells me "Code 31", "Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device". Uninstalling it in Device Manager and then using Scan For Hardware Changes seems to send Windows through the usual "installing drivers" thing, but at the end the problem persists. Help! |

In current drivers, only one of the GPUs is active and functioning on this card. NVIDIA is actively working on this feature and plan to release Beta drivers between now and the final release in the end of March" |

Since installing the nVidia Forceware drivers (which give the 2 entries in Device Manager, 1 with a conflict, since they're apparently disabling 1 of the GPU's till nVidia fix it), my Gaming Graphics score has went *up* to 5.8! (Graphics score is still 5.9) |
