desktop composition

I have the following configuration

CPU Amd X2 4200
RAM 2GB in dual channel configuration
Nvidia 6800 ULTRA

When I use multiple windows in windows vista beta 2 I get the following
message

"would you like to disable desktop composition ? "

why this message appears ? because its beta or i don't have a good gpu ?

Re: desktop composition

It is not because it is beta for sure.
The system realized that video subsystem uses too much resources, it is
either a bug somewhere or gpu issues
