Re: the screen resolution

Have you tried to boot in Safe mode?

Do this by tapping the F8 key during boot about once every second..
When the Safe mode window opens, select Safe mode.

Let the computer open Windows and go to the Control panel.

Re: the screen resolution

Boot into Safe Mode, change the resolution in there and reboot. That should
bring it back.

Re: the screen resolution

Thank you to answer me.
I can open the control panel with the safe mode, but i can't change the
resolution. it's locked on 800*600 (i have a monitor 17 inchs), and several
restorations can't change the problem.
But on an another screen (flat), i restart vista with Statup Repair Tool,
and the command "bootrec.exe", very effective (without, i had the same
problem), so i think my monitor isn't compatible with windows vista.
However, i have yet some problems with dialog boxes which open at restart,
with nothing inside ! O_o
So i'm still without solution with my monitor if you have an idea...
