Any way you could borrow and try some extra memory. On my machine, it seems
like Vista takes about 400 megs just sitting there. I had one gig and one
of my games was having problems. I added another gig and the game got much
better.
Is the hard drive running quite a bit on your systems?
I guess you could also go back and try the Windows Classic desktop to see if
it helps. I have a Nvidia 6800 GT video card and it seems to be working
fairly hard using the Aero glass.
