Vista - Moving and Deleting Files...

ok well its been hapening for about 2 or 3 days now. When you move or delete
a file on vista a small dialouge box comes up with a status bar and gives u
the time remaing, files size, amount of files, etc...

anyways for some reason the files will go where they are moved to as usual,
but the dialogue box itself does not go away. I end up being forced to use
the task manager to end the task, which in turn closes any open folder and
well the explorer in general.

has this happened to anyone else?
can someone help me?
