Vista - Update KB931906 forever

Please help !
Set to automatic download updates with choice of installing. then Capicom
KB931906 installed and a short time after "new updates available" appeared on
the taskbar. Installed a few times (15 times by now). Get the message
'installation successful' and it does come up in Taskbar again to be
installed again. Creates a Restore Point every time slowing things down. All
I can do is not clicking the update icon, but what if there are more updates.

I too am experiencing this problem. Does anyone have a solution?

Just to elaborate, I have Windows set to automatically download & install updates and when I shut down this update is installed successfully every time. However it comes back the next time I fire up the PC.

Offhand I don't know what KB931906 is for. If it's not important to you, un-install it and then "hide" it so it won't be available for updating.
