| vista home premium 32 | Re: desktop problems? I have the same prob I get the blank srcreen with mouse pointer but no desktop.Ctrl alt delete does nothing for me.Task manager dose not start. This all started while watching a movie on Media center, movie locked up and I had to restart comp. help!! |

Double click it, then delete the contents and replace it with just "explorer.exe" (without the quotes). Click ok and close the registry editor, then reboot to see if this helps. | Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: desktop problems? so after i start new task manager and bring up explorer and i bring up the registry and get HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon i dont even have a winlogon folder (or i cant find it) all i have is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and then when i expand it i have these sub folders BCD0000000,COMPONENTS,HARDWARE,SAM,SECURITY,SOFTWARE,SYSTEM i need help Rick |
