Virtual memory

When i try to change my virtual memory and set them to both the same amount
(min 3026 and max 3026) and when i click on OK i get the blue screen dumps my
physical memory and reboots every time and will not change. just wondering
if anyone else is seeing this and if someone has a fix for it?

RE: Virtual memory

Well as a general rule, I never set them the same. There was a KB article
sometime ago, and maybe that has change, that made a reference to this.
However, that isn't the problem. A simple test, though is this: For now, set
the paging file to say 3000 3025. If it ask for you to reboot, then it is the
driver for the controller that is having an issue. This should be a dynamic
change, not requiring a reboot (keep in mind that the paging file under
windows control, changes automatically).
If there is no other driver available, try to use the standard driver from
Microsoft. (changing the driver will want a reboot) after the reboot though,
change the size say to 3001 3026 (so it sees a change) If it still requires a
reboot, replace the controller. It will cause you problems.
